A specialist seminar exploring the nature and dynamics of domestic abuse, with a focus on church settings.
This new course designed by the National Safeguarding Team is essential training for people in certain roles including clergy, those with Permission to Officiate and Licenced Lay Ministers.

The Diocesan Safeguarding Team will facilitate seminars aimed at enabling attendees to engage thoughtfully and proactively with the issue of domestic abuse and those who may be affected. This course contains material which may have an emotional impact on those who attend. If you would like to discuss anything ahead of time, please contact the safeguarding team safeguarding@salisbury.anglican.org

This course is essential training for anyone who holds The Bishops Licence, including clergy, LLM’s, those with PTO. This course is also for Parish Safeguarding Officers and PCC members who have specific responsibility for vulnerable/at risk adults in the church or parish.
