Exploring new forms of church. In this diocese, we concentrate on Fresh Expressions and M4M (Ministry for Mission).

A Fresh Expression is “a form of church for our changing culture established primarily for the benefit of people who are not yet members of any church”. Some are led by clergy, some are led by lay ministers and workers.

Prominent examples include Poole Missional Communities, led by the Revd Paul Bradbury, the Point in Wimborne, New Housing across the diocese, and the Revd Eve Pegler’s work in Gillingham and Milton.

M4M (Ministry for Mission) resources, encourages and provides training for new forms of church for the 21st century.
