Supporting Children Through Bereavement
Explore best practice to support bereaved children and young people.
Explore best practice to support bereaved children and young people when they have experienced the death of someone close to them or that has impacted the community.
This course will look at practical ways to work with children and young people who have been bereaved and include ideas for working with individuals and groups as well as adults who may be supporting bereaved children within the family. We will also look at supporting school communities to respond well to a bereavement or critical incident and share resources and details of organisations/charities that work in this field.
