STREAMS IN THE DESERT: Prophetic Wisdom in Wilderness Times
Informed by the writings of theologian Walter Brueggeman, this will be a day to explore how the prophetic imagination can nourish and inform our ministry, providing life-giving streams in these challenging times. As preparation for Lent, the prophetic imagination calls us to honest lament, practices that honour the sacred and vision rooted in God’s greater story.
The themes of the day will be explored through scripture, music, image, poetry, personal reflection, sharing and prayer.
Julie Dunstan is an experienced psychotherapist, spiritual director, supervisor, trainer and LLM. She is founder of a 3-year formation programme at the London Centre for Spiritual Direction and has recently taken up post as Network Coordinator for Wiltshire and Dorset Spiritual Accompaniment, in partnership with the Diocese of Salisbury.
