An opportunity to work with established hymn and song writers, as well as workshops for words and music. Bring your hymns and songs to share and receive helpful tips on writing inspiring words and music for worship. Meet others who are writing and composing and be encouraged!
Dr Noel Tredinnick FRSCM is a composer, organist, orchestrator, and conductor, notable for his many contributions to several hymnbooks. He is founder and conductor of the All Souls Orchestra and of `Prom Praise` and `Prom Praise for Schools.`
Joel Payne leads the Resound Worship group of songwriters and has tutored on numerous workshops and retreats for writers from the grass roots upwards.
Martin Leckebusch has been Chairman of the Jubilate New Texts Assessment Group for a number of years. He has written a large number of hymn texts himself, some of which appear in various publications including Sing Glory and the most recent Hymns Ancient and Modern Hymnbook.
The workshop is run in conjunction with RSCM and The Song and Hymn Writers’ Foundation.
