Sex and the City of God: The Church, Marriage and Same Sex Relationships

The Church of England is not the only church that is on a journey of exploration on the subject of marriage and same sex relationships. Recently the Scottish Episcopal Church took the bold decision to allow the celebration of same sex marriages. How are we reflecting on this sensitive issue which intimately touches human lives and how can we continue to walk together as Christians?

Three speakers (**now two-see below updated 03/08/2018) will offer us their perspective from a historical, a scriptural and an experiential point of view with plenty of time for questions and discussion.

Judith Maltby Marriage and the Reformation (**unfortunately now unable to attend)
David Runcorn Pleasure, Pain and Passion – the vocation to love
Jayne Ozanne Is Good Disagreement Possible?

Jayne is a well-known gay evangelical who works to ensure full inclusion of all LGBTI Christians at every level of the Church.
