S1 Safer Recruitment - Canford Magna Centre
Safer Recruitment: A 2 hour session to explore the principles and practice behind safer recruitment helping to raise awareness of the legislation and guidance which ensures that people working/volunteering with vulnerable people are recruited safely into churches. Compulsory for clergy and anyone who will be serving on interview panels in the diocese and local churches.
You may find it helpful to have a copy of the Safer Recruitment Practice Guidance with you at the training. The document can be found on the diocesan website and we have put the link to it below. The appendices are also on the website but some of these will be in your handouts on the day so there is no need to bring copies with you

Handout 12 will not be available in the training because it consists of a lot of pages with weblinks and so this is available at the link below – I suggest you save this email so you can access the document when needed.
