For all governors, the three core functions of governance describe the responsibilities that they hold. These sessions will enable Foundation Governors to learn more about how we can better fulfil these covering one per term over the year

Over the course of 3 sessions across the year, our aim is to build up our confidence and competence as Foundation Governors to fulfil the 3 core functions of governance. We will look at each core function in turn and examine together what excellent practice looks like and how we can work with our fellow governors to achieve this.
