PSA SUBSCRIPTION COURSE: School Leaders New to Church Schools Session 1 (first year in post) 12/02/20

The programme is formed of four sessions over two years and explores how deeply Christian school distinctiveness leads to transformational effectiveness.

The course content will include:
• SESSION 1 - Reviewing and developing vision and values – how do I take my whole school with me?
To enable school leaders new in post to have a confident knowledge and understanding of what it means to be the leader of a Church school:
• to have gathered practical ideas for generating distinctive Christian vision and to have had the opportunity to see this ‘lived out’ in practice
• to understand how to build the link between distinctiveness and effectiveness and see how a school’s ethos can enhance outcomes
• to be able to use the SIAMS schedule and inspection as part of this process of transformation
This event will also give time for reflection, conversation and networking as the aim of this course is to equip and empower attendees to fulfil their potential as excellent leaders of effective and distinctive church schools.
