PSA Subscription Course: Leadership Programme Half Day School Visit for School Leaders - Session 3 - 22/06/22

As well as your 2hr adviser visit in your first term, your 2-year induction as a school leader consists of five sessions over two years:

Year One

- Session 1 – Virtual introduction to the diocese – in your first term of headship.

- Session 2 – Full Day vision into practice and Commissioning Service February

- Session 3 – Half Day visit to a school – June

Year Two

- Session 4 – Full Day vision into practice in February

- Session 5 – Half Day visit to a school – June

This course is SESSION 3 – Half Day visit to a school for leaders in their first year of headship.

Content:

Deeply Christian distinctiveness into effectiveness – To explore the question, “how could I as the Headteacher enable SIAMS to have transformational impact on my school?”

This session will take place in a Church school (two venues, simultaneously across the diocese to provide a choice for attendees).

The focus of the visit will be tailored to the interests of school leaders attending, but is likely to cover collective worship, school learning walk, and the opportunity to look at RE books.
