THIS TRAINING HAS BEEN CANCELLED: Involving children and young people in planning, leading and evaluating collective worship
This aspect of collective worship is the most common area for improvement from SIAMS inspections across the Diocese.
This course explores the most effective, creative and manageable approaches for involving children and young people in the planning, leading and evaluation of worship so that it has impact on their daily lives.
The content of the course will cover:
Develop knowledge and understanding of the impact of a child/young person led worship or ethos committee
Practical approaches to engage children and young people in the planning of collective worship
Manageable and innovative ways to enable children and young people to lead worship
Develop a bank of creative ideas for involving children and young people in effective evaluation of the impact of worship on the lives in the school community
EYFS to KS4 appropriate
A light lunch and refreshments will be provided
