In Flight with the Wild Goose
Worship resources from the Iona Community
The Iona Community is widely known for its distinctive worship style, associated either with Wild Goose Publications or the influential figure of John Bell. This course, led by two former Resident Musicians of Iona Abbey, will explore the appeal of Iona and provide guidance on how a local church could use the worship resources including songs for choirs and congregations, separate liturgies and liturgical resources to integrate into your regular worship pattern. A day that caters for those already familiar with Iona and those who simply wish to learn more.
Frances was at Iona Abbey in 2000 and is a Roman Catholic Musician and Liturgist. Jonathan was at Iona Abbey in 2001 and 2002 and returns regularly to ‘sit in’. He works for the RSCM and Salisbury Methodist Church.
