What opportunities does the SIAMS schedule’s focus on mental health and well being provide for your school to help create an environment for a good childhood.
The Children’s Society will be presenting on their children’s subjective well-being research programme. This programme, over 10 years old, produces the annual Good Childhood Report and is one of the leading authorities on children’s well-being in the UK. They will provide delegates with:
- a snapshot in the latest trends in children’s well-being
- links between low well-being and mental-ill health
- ways to go about measuring and understanding well-being in schools
- ways to go about improving children’s well-being
There will also be opportunities to explore good and innovative practice and its application in your setting.
