Hem of the Garment

What does an Anglican woman priest look like? What role models and dress codes shape our own and others’ perceptions? How do we handle the projections that all clergy encounter in a positive way? Plus – where exactly does one get a clerical shirt that both fits and flatters!

This is a light hearted and hopefully enjoyable event for women clergy following a very successful similar day that was held recently in the diocese of Ely. We will be joined by Yvonne and Lesley from Hem of the Garment, a small company making bespoke clerical wear for women. Visit their website at www.hemofthegarment.co.uk. Also by a representative from a major department store who will offer grooming tips, fashion advice and possibly some agreeable discounts! Lunch will be provided.
