Domestic Abuse (essential training) - Dorset archdeaconry

A specialist seminar exploring the nature and dynamics of domestic abuse, with a focus on church settings.

This new course designed by the National Safeguarding Team is essential training for people in certain roles including clergy, those with Permission to Officiate and Licenced Lay Ministers.

The Diocesan Safeguarding Team in partnership with local Domestic Abuse support agencies will facilitate seminars aimed at enabling attendees to engage thoughtfully and proactively with the issue of domestic abuse and those who may be affected. This course contains material which may have an emotional impact on those who attend.
