DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Training
All your DBS training needs
This online training session provides an overview of DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) systems so is applicable for all who are involved in this process and are new in role or as a refresher. It is suitable for Parish Safeguarding Officers, Church Safeguarding Officers, Disclosure Officers, Verifiers and any other safeguarding partners who have an interest in the area. Here are the course outcomes:
- Enhanced understanding of the different elements of the DBS process, and their purposes and importance.
- Increased confident in complying with DBS standards (for example which roles might be eligible for different levels including regulated activity).
- An understanding of navigating the microsite and APCS
