Creative Prayer and Reflection (WILTON Half day)
Developing Collective Worship: creative approaches to prayer and reflection in a school context
Course content: to consider different aspects of prayer and reflection, and to introduce a range of creative approaches to use in a church school context.
A practical course to explore the centrality of prayer and reflection within a church school context. We will focus on different aspects of prayer within the Christian tradition and explore a range of reflective and creative approaches.
We will consider the expectations in terms of Collective Worship within the new SIAMS framework.
The intended outcome is that delegates have
increased confidence in leading reflective Collective Worship in school, and are familiar with the Collective Worship section of the SIAMS framework
