Blessed are the Placemakers
How have geography, heritage and Christian tradition shaped the parish inheritance and its future?
Parish ministry is entirely local, but we rarely consider the vital role of geography in our mission. Drawing on his work in the books Parish: an Anglican Theology of Place (SCM Press, 2017) and English Grounds (SCM Press 2021), Bishop Andrew will speak about how geography, heritage and Christian tradition have shaped the parish inheritance and consider how these may also shape its future.
