Better Learning, better teaching and better leading of RE
Learn, Teach, Lead RE - a FREE conference to inspire you in your teaching or leading role
This is an exciting NEW conference which will be led in the morning by Lat Blaylock from RE Today who will inspire you, and allow you to consider aspects of teaching and learning in RE. You will leave with new ideas, new approaches and new thinking about effective RE provision.
As well as celebrating and developing present RE practice, the conference will also introduce you to the Learn, Teach, Lead, model (LTLRE) that has been successfully rolled out in other parts of the country. The afternoon will allow the chance to hear from some of the LTLRE Hub leaders from other dioceses who will talk through their work and share the successes seen so far. We will consider and discuss options for developing this style of project work across our local area.
The end of the day will finish with a final input from Lat to send you back to school ready and raring to put some of the ideas into practice.
The intended outcomes are:
Strategies to use to ensure better teaching and learning of RE
Explore different leadership approaches and strategies that ensure better outcomes for pupils
Introduce and discuss possible Diocesan involvement in the National Learn Teach Lead RE model
The chance to network with other teachers and leaders of RE
The day is relevant for KS 1, 2 and 3.
We do hope as many of you as possible take the chance to attend this FREE conference, and be inspired in your teaching or leading role.
EARLY BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL AS PLACES ARE LIMITED TO 75 MAXIMUM.
