All Age Christian Mindfulness - NON CLERGY BOOKINGS ONLY

A day event for Sunday Schools Leaders, Open the Book teams, Headteachers, Teachers, LTAs, Governors, Collective Worship Leaders, parents... anyone who is passionate about encouraging children and young people to grow in faith and trust in God.

Using Advent themed materials we will explore:

• Christian mindfulness

• Creative approaches to prayer

• Creating prayer spaces

• Age appropriate and all ages together prayer

• Reflective Prayer

• Outdoor prayer

The intended outcome of the course is to create an awareness of Christian mindfulness, confidence in encouraging children and young people to experience prayer and mindfulness in different settings, and using different methods.

Verity Holloway is Diocesan Adviser for RE and Spiritual Development. Barbara Meardon is School Parish Partnership Team Manager. Both are experienced prayer leaders in school and parish.
